Pianist Kyle P. Walker has been featured on WQXR radio, NPR and UNC-TV. Recent performances include his 2013 debut solo recital at Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center’s Metropolitan Opera Guild, The Great Hall at Cooper Union, The House of the Redeemer, The National Opera America Center,  and innovative multimedia venue, Spectrum NYC.

As an advocate of social justice, Kyle is a member of The Dream Unfinished, an activist orchestra which supports NYC-based civil rights and community organizations through concerts and presentations. 

Kyle performs with Artists By Any Other Name based in NYC. The collective aims to increase the accessibility of classical music by combining with dance, drama, poetry, and visual art. 

He is currently embarking on a solo performance project entitled BlackNotes, which aims to explore the divides and connections between White American and Black American Art Music.
